Hire a beautiful handmade Tipi for the festival weekend and experience the beauty of these majestic structures. Warm and snug on windy nights and cool on hot summer afternoons. Our Tipis, based on native American tradition have been improved to better suit our conditions, are made from high quality materials and come complete with inner liner, rainhood, groundsheet and matting. Choose from the Standard or Luxury Tipis, both 18ft and party in style at Wickerman 2010. Your Tipi will be pitched and fitted out awaiting your arrival, when you will be greeted and settled in. Tipis are perfect for families or groups of friends.

Every Tipi will accommodate up to six adults comfortably along with luggage, with room to stand up and indeed walk around and space still to swing the hypothetical cat.

The Tipi Field is only open to residents and as such we cannot allow visitors or guests into the field, as it compromises the facilities that the residents are paying for such as the toilet and showers and their privacy. If your friends want to enjoy the same facilities as you why not suggest that they book a Tipi too. lf we have enough advance notice we can put you in neighbouring Tipis.

Luxury Tipi: £560 (Sleeps 6)
The luxury Tipi comes with fitted watertight groundsheet, coconut matting and cotton & wool rugs. Furnishings include real sheepskins, lots of cushions, small table and lanterns.

Standard Tipi: £460 (Sleeps 6)
The standard Tipi comes with fitted watertight groundsheet and coconut matting.

Double Airbeds are available to hire, ready inflated £18 each. What could be better, and it’s one less thing to carry.

New Luxury Mongolian Yurts. Share the magical and experience of staying in one of our fabulous traditional silk lined Mongolian yurts.

We’re located in the Luxury Accommodation Field. Choice of 5 metre (up to 4) or 6 metre yurt (up to 6 people).

Exclusive use of posh toilets and showers for the residents of the Luxury Accommodation Field.

Yurts, Squrts and Cloudhouses

Cloudhouses are returning to Wickerman for the fourth year.

Book soon to avoid disappointment, they have sold out every year.

Justine and Simon set up Yurts and Squrts in 2007 then created the brand Cloudhouses in 2009 which is now the home of yurts and squrts. Their mission being to provide cosy, handmade, quirky accommodation to festival goers with lovely helpful staff to make your festival an extra special experience.

Yurts are our 4 person nomadic structures originating from central Asia where they have been used for thousands of years, now they offer super cosy festival accommodation in Scotland.

Squrts are fun and quirky miniature 2 person yurts, designed and hand-made by Justine and Simon in their workshop in rural Northumberland. 

Cloudhouses are 2/3 person structures which are a little more spacious than a squrt and are much better for anyone who likes a higher and wider doorway.
