The Wickerman Festival takes place at East Kirkcarswell, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, down the A711 and just over an hour’s hop from the M74.
For those of you relying on the directional guidance of a satellite navigational system the postcode that holds the key is DG6 4QW, however, remember to look out for festival signage as you get nearer to the venue as sat navs have been known to be a little fickle at times.

Head South from Glasgow on the M74
Leave M74 at Junction 15
Follow route to Dumfries
Follow signs for A75 Castle Douglas
Follow A75 to Kirkcudbright
Through Kirkcudbright, follow A711 for Dundrennan
Through Dundrennan, stay on A711 for Auchencairn
Festival site is situated on your left

Head West from Edinburgh on M8
Leave M8 following signs for M73 (South)
From M73, join M74 Southbound

Leave M74 at Junction 15
Follow route to Dumfries
Follow signs for A75 Castle Douglas

Happy Bus are back on board with an increased service including regional return travel, and two new services including a Dumfries service from and returning to the train station and a local service including stops in Dalbeattie, Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright that run until the early hours.
The services run on Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th July departing from the various locations across the UK.
If you have a return ticket please make sure you are at your departure point in plenty time for the off as the drivers can't wait.

FILLING STATIONS
The nearest filling stations to the site are located in Dalbeattie and Castle Douglas. These are not operational on a 24 hour basis. The Dalbeattie filling station have confirmed they are open on Sundays.
