Rerrick Events Society was established in 2003 as part of the Wickerman Festival as a not for profit organisation.  Over the years, the group renewed its focus and pledged funds to help educate a young Tanzanian orphan named James Okeyo.  The committee of Rerrick Events fundraise every year at Wickerman, mainly through the festival’s children’s area to support James in his schooling in Tanzania.

The photos below show James with his family and school friends.

The letters below are from the head teacher at the school where James is educated and a letter from James himself.

To find out more about James, and how the support has changed his life, view the following footage.
