Travelling to the Festival from Glasgow
- Head South from Glasgow on the M74
- Leave M74 at Junction 15
- Follow A701 to Dumfries
- Through Dumfries, follow A75 towards Stranraer
- Take the A711 for Kirkcudbright
- Through Kirkcudbright, stay on the A711 heading for Dundrennan / Auchencairn
- Through Dundrennan, stay on A711 for Auchencairn (but don't go as as far as Auchencairn)
- Festival site is situated on your left
Travelling to the Festival from Edinburgh
- Head West from Edinburgh on M8
- Leave M8 following signs for M73 (South)
- From M73, join M74 Southbound
- Follow M74
- Leave M74 at Junction 15
- Follow A701 to Dumfries
- Through Dumfries, follow A75 towards Stranraer
- Take the A711 for Kirkcudbright
- Through Kirkcudbright, stay on the A711 heading for Dundrennan / Auchencairn
- Through Dundrennan, stay on A711 for Auchencairn (but don't go as as far as Auchencairn)
- Festival site is situated on your left
Travelling to the Festival from Carlisle
- Head North on the M6 (going into the M74)
- At junction 22, exit onto A75 towards Dumfries / Stranraer
- At the first roundabout approaching Dumfries follow the sign to 'Dumfries Bypass' (A75 Dumfries)
- Through Dumfries, follow A75 towards Stranraer
- Take the A711 for Kirkcudbright
- Through Kirkcudbright, stay on the A711 heading for Dundrennan / Auchencairn
- Through Dundrennan, stay on A711 for Auchencairn (but don't go as as far as Auchencairn)
- Festival site is situated on your left
Filling Stations
The nearest filling stations to the site are located in Kirkcudbright, Dalbeattie and Castle Douglas. These are not operational on a 24 hour basis. The Dalbeattie filling station have confirmed they are open on Sundays.
